Khammam Forest District
Khammam Forest District operates under the Telangana Forest Department and is responsible for the protection, conservation, and management of forest resources within its jurisdiction.
The district consists of two territorial forest divisions:
Khammam Division – headed by Sri Ch. Krishna Prasad, ACF
Sathupally Division – headed by Smt. V. Manjula, ACF
In addition, the District Task Force Range functions under the District Forest Officer and focuses on enforcement and protection activities.
Khammam Forest District integrates scientific forest management with field-level implementation, community participation, and ecological restoration to ensure long-term sustainability of forest ecosystems.

Khammam Forest District has a forest area of approximately 639.61 hectares, within a geographical area of 4,361 sq. km, covering nearly 14% of the district.
